I'm Jacquie - a former Canadian radio and television personality who found her true passion in Africa. Over a decade ago a life-changing foreign aid trip to South Sudan set me on a new path, leading me to elope and make my home in the stunning landscapes of South Africa.
My love for Africa and its wildlife has inspired me to share my experiences with the world, and I've done so through two books - "The Gift of an Elephant" and "Twenty Eight Elephants and Other Everyday Miracles." But my quest for knowledge and exploration didn't stop there; I've qualified as a nature guide, travelled to India and became a certified yoga and meditation teacher.

These passions all came together to create Soul Safari - an unforgettable experience that allows me to share my love of Africa , India and yoga with others. From walking among the zebras and giraffes in Africa to searching for tigers and leopards on game drives in India, Soul Safari is all about immersing yourself in natural beauty , exploring vibrant cultures and connecting with yourself.

Introducing Enchanting Egypt!
Join us on a spiritual journey as Soul Safari teams up with Igniting Spirit to take you on a magic carpet ride through the enchanting land of Egypt! This carefully curated tour takes us to the iconic sites, and allows us to experience them fully. Highlights include: private time for meditation between the paws of the Sphinx, a dawn ceremony at the Temple of Isis and the opportunity to enter the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid and tune ourselves to it's intense energy.
We'll float down the Nile through the heart of this ancient and mystical land, on our own private vessel, a floating temple where we'll do yoga, meditate and relax as we drift by the changing landscape.

Walk on the Wild Side
Join us on the trail of the tiger. Our journey begins with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World. Then we're on Safari! We'll enjoy sumptuous farm-to-table organic Indian cuisine at our stunning eco-friendly lodge. We'll get a taste of the local culture, including a village walk and a visit to a tribal temple. We'll dine in the bush and stargaze, walk through big cat territories, explore the forest on foot or bicycle, be hands on for an authentic Indian cooking demonstration and enjoy gentle yoga and meditation sessions in the lap of nature. All parts of our itinerary are optional- if you choose to simply relax at our luxurious resort on any given day, you are welcome to do so!
